Low cost carriers

The most favorable flights in one place

Low cost carriers are ideal choice for those with limited budget, but who still want to travel. They were founded in USA 30 years ago and they are doing business based on the low cost model so they can offer to the passengers very low prices.

In order to offer passengers lower ticket prices and quality of the service, low cost carriers have minimum administration, no branches around the world and flight bookings & payments are performed online or via customer services. They are characterised by a large daily number of flights with minimal retention at the airports and majority of those flights have bounded flights.

Our web site offers a variety of regular routes and low cost carriers.

Tips how to save money by travelling with low cost carriers:

1

If you can, plan your trip ahead as the last minute trips increases costs. If you are flexible with dates for travelling, we recommend you to travel on work days or off-season.

2

When you are choosing the flight, compare offers and flights regarding prices and other characteristics in order to get what you need for a pleasant journey at the best price.

3

Some low cost carriers are flying on smaller and distant airports so their flight prices are lower. For example, Ryanair often uses secondary airports, while easyJet mostly uses major airports of major cities in the Europe. Be sure to take into account the distance between the airport and the place of staying for travel cost estimation.

4

Price for basic service of low cost carriers includes transportation in one direction and transportation of defined quantity of hand bags, without any extra services that could be extra charged. Everything else is according to the passenger’s wishes and can be extra charged: transportation of luggage, food and beverages in the plane, entertainment during the flight, ticket changes, seat reservation, priority boarding, and travel insurance.

5

We recommend you to make online check-in earlier, because some companies additionally charge check-in service at the airport. For example, Ryanair charges 70 €.

6

Check what travel /identification documents you need to have because low cost airline companies have different regulations. For example, Morocco accepts only passports and Ryanair does not accept driver’s licence. The safest way to start a trip is with a valid passport that is valid for 6 months from entering a foreign country.

7

Low cost carriers are generally accurate and they stick to the flying time table, check in counters open differently and time needed for check in can differ depending on the carrier, so make sure to be informed on time and to make check-in early enough.
